Everyone experiences difficulties and setbacks at some point in their lives.  Life can be a bumpy road at times. Working with a clinical psychologist can enable you to deal with these issues more easily and constructively and gain a greater understanding of your self, your behaviours and thinking patterns and limiting beliefs and enhance your sense of well-being and life satisfaction.

Kate MacKinnon is a registered clinical psychologist with both graduate and post graduate qualifications in psychology. Kate brings to her work many years of life experience and 25 years of experience as a family and child counsellor and psychotherapist and have been registered as a psychologist for over 19 years.  She has since carried out further studies and gained qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist, which enables suitably referred clients to gain a higher Medicare Rebate for my services. She is a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.

It can be helpful to work with a professional who has spent many years acquiring skills and expertise through extensive university training and who is able to work with you in a way that enables you to deal with the “emotional aspects” of life’s challenges.

If you are curious to see if psychological work may be helpful or you are concerned about someone else who may be acting out of character, please don’t hesitate to call me on 0419 411 709. Perhaps I can help……

Kind Regards

Kate MacKinnon
