Kate’s Philosophy of Supervision.

Kate adopts a strengths based approach that involves both skills development and professional development to increase the supervisee’s conceptual understanding of both themselves and their clients. Kate uses a well established integrated model of supervision. Her aim is to enhance the insight, effectiveness and sensitivity of the supervisee to their own and their clients’ interpersonal behaviour patterns. The goal is to contribute to the development of the supervisees’ professional and ethical practice and to facilitate the achievement of their professional goals

Professional Supervision of psychologists and counsellors is an area of her professional life that Kate finds particularly rewarding and enriching. She sees supervision as an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the personal and professional development of her supervisees and to the profession as a whole.
