The Therapy Process
People come to see me about all sorts of issues. Above are just a few examples. Therapy is a process that helps you to better understand yourself and the often unhelpful recurring patterns of behaviour that lead to frustration and unhappiness. The process helps you find better ways, to use your mind, emotions, body, behaviour, strengths, values and beliefs to enhance your life.
My approach to therapy is about more than the use of techniques and strategies. The work that we would do together is informed by evidence based psychological therapies, such as Coginitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Schema Therapy; and Positive Psychology and tailored to your individual needs in a supportive and safe environment.
